Summary

This website was built with WordPress and Elementor. A good functioning foundation was laid.

Because this is a live site, it was determined to make changes slowly over a long period of time to not upset current customers.

Global Theme

Summary

The website consists of 70+ pages, each of which requires editing to make changes. A global template is in progress to make changes easier.

Global Template

The global template is made with Elementor Pro using Advanced Custom Fields.

In Progress

The template was inserted into most of the product pages. As new sections are added (currently 2), the original sections are deleted on each page (70+).

Header

Original Header too wide, not visually appealing.

Header Color

Changed white topbar color.

Font

Increased font size. Changed to lower case.

Sticky Menu

Header will be updated to be sticky.

Mega Menu

Original Mega Menu blended with the Menu Bar and the hover color was too dark.

Hover Color

Updated hover color

Font

Coded product name to match the correct "look" of the product name (some names are bold).

Product Slider

Changed from 3 images on a white background to 1 image.

Style & Spacing

Made overall Mega Menu easier to read

Hero CTA

The hero section will eventually be redesigned in the global template.

Product Title

Original product title was an image. The product title has been updated to formatted text.

This section is currently being redesigned.

Fabrics, Sizing, Thickness

Updated 70+ pages to resemble Spring catalog.

Created visible column blocks.

This section will be added to a global template which pulls in product data using Advanced Custom Fields.

Original product gallery was located away from the product description.

Relocated Product Gallery

Moved the product gallery next to the product description which is normal for e-commerce websites.

Product Name

Added the product name above the product description.
